Fluxora collects raw data from publicly available sources operated by European transmission system operators, regulators, and market operators, normalises it into a unified schema (timestamps to UTC, typed columns, harmonised fuel types and zones), and serves it through an API, dashboards, and an MCP endpoint. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by any of the upstream providers listed in section 4.
Fluxora data falls into two rights buckets:
Fundamentals — generation, load, forecasts, cross-border flows, installed capacity, cross-border capacity, and (as added) balancing/imbalance and outages. Most of these are sourced from open, reusable feeds. Subject to the Terms of Service and each source's conditions in section 4, you may use them internally (research, analysis, modelling) and create and share meaningfully transformed derived outputs with source acknowledgement (e.g. "Source: ENTSO-E via Fluxora"). Fluxora grants no right to redistribute, resell or publish the data itself — on any plan, at any tier. The licence class in section 4 describes the UPSTREAM source's terms and the attribution you must carry; it is not a redistribution right granted to you through Fluxora.
German imbalance prices — reBAP and the Index Ausgleichsenergiepreis, from Netztransparenz — are a further example of an upstream restriction: the four German TSOs require their prior written consent for reproduction, so those series are internal-use only. Where this section and section 4 differ, section 4 governs.
Prices — power day-ahead and intraday prices. These originate from power exchanges and market operators (NEMOs), who remain the primary owners. They are provided for information only: you may use them internally, but you may not redistribute, resell, or publish price data in any form, on any plan.
Across both buckets you may not redistribute raw or lightly-processed data on any plan, and may not use any data in a way that violates the upstream terms in section 4.
Every dataset carries one of three classes, shown against each source in section 4:
The class tells you the status of the upstream feed and the attribution you must carry; under Fluxora's Terms of Service you use the data internally and do not redistribute it, whatever its class or your plan.
Each entry: coverage · licence (class) · required attribution · changes Fluxora makes. Unless noted, Fluxora's changes are: timestamps parsed to UTC, values stored as typed columns, and source fuel/technology labels mapped to a harmonised fueltype; underlying values are otherwise passed through unchanged.
Coverage — day-ahead prices (A44), generation per type (A75), load actual + forecast (A65), cross-border flows (A11), installed capacity (A68), wind/solar forecast (A69), forecasted transfer capacity (A61), offered capacity (A31), nominated and already-allocated capacity (A26), activated balancing energy (A84 — Art. 17.1.F), installed capacity and actual generation per production unit (A71, A73), and planned and forced unavailability of generation and production units (A80, A77 — Art. 15).
Licence — ENTSO-E applies two classes. Datasets on ENTSO-E's List of Data Available for Free Re-use (version of 18 October 2023) are Reusable (CC-BY 4.0); everything else is Source Terms of Use (Transparency Regulation EU 543/2013). On the list — Reusable (CC-BY 4.0): cross-border physical flows (A11 — Art. 12.1.g), forecasted transfer capacity, offered capacity and nominated/already-allocated capacity (A61, A31, A26 — Art. 11.1.a, 12.1.b, 12.1.c), load forecasts (Art. 6.1.b–e), and balancing — activated balancing energy (A84 — Art. 17.1.F), balancing reserve capacity (Art. 17.1.B, 17.1.C) and balancing prices (Art. 12.3.E, 12.3.F). Not on the list — Source Terms of Use: generation per type (A75 — Art. 16.1.b/c), actual load (A65 — Art. 6.1.a) (as distinct from the load forecasts above), installed capacity (A68 — Art. 14.1.a), wind/solar forecast (A69 — Art. 14.1.c/d), and the per-unit and outage datasets: installed capacity and generation per unit (A71, A73 — Art. 14.1.b, 16.1.a) and unit unavailability (A80, A77 — Art. 15.1.a–d). Outage events are served with every revision the publisher issued, unchanged apart from the timestamps and the MW columns being typed. Exclusions (they narrow the CC-BY datasets above). ENTSO-E's list excludes data concerning the BritNed (GB–NL), IFA (FR–GB) and Nemo Link (BE–GB) interconnectors, data for Moldova and Turkey, and — for the balancing and several capacity items — Ukraine. Fluxora publishes flows and capacity per border, so every ENTSO-E series for the GB–NL, FR–GB and BE–GB borders (both directions), and every ENTSO-E series for Moldova, Turkey or (for balancing) Ukraine, is Source Terms of Use, not CC-BY. So is any value Fluxora derives from them, such as the physical net position of GB, NL, FR and BE. Day-ahead prices (A44) originate from the power exchanges / NEMOs — class Prices, information only, not redistributable. The EXAA day-ahead auction (12.1.D sequence 2) and the intraday auctions (IDA1/2/3) carry the same class: they are 12.1.D price data, which is not on the re-use list.

Coverage — generation by fuel (31 zones), actual load (30 zones) and cross-border physical flows (136 directed borders) — a pan-European second path alongside ENTSO-E. Day-ahead prices and installed capacity are collected and not yet served.
Licence — energy-charts' own data is Reusable (CC-BY 4.0). energy-charts is in part a re-publisher, and this matters for re-use: its per-response license field names an upstream for some endpoints and zones — /price?bzn=NL, for example, returns Bundesnetzagentur | SMARD.de. Fluxora stores that chain per row and reports it through ops.v_energycharts_licence_chain. Where a series is re-published, its class is the upstream's, not energy-charts'.

Licence — Source Terms of Use. netztransparenz.de publishes no open-data licence and has no terms-of-use page; its only statement on re-use is in the Impressum, which says the site's content is protected by copyright and that reproduction requires the German TSOs' prior written consent by e-mail, "soweit die Vervielfältigung nicht ohnehin gesetzlich gestattet ist" (except where reproduction is legally permitted anyway). The platform is operated jointly by 50Hertz Transmission GmbH, Amprion GmbH, TenneT TSO GmbH and TransnetBW GmbH, who publish these series under their statutory transparency obligations. Fluxora grants no redistribution right for this source, on any plan. Whether a statutory permission covers your intended use is yours to assess.

A price is not a price. Two series can cover the same zone, the same interval and the same currency and still be incomparable, because they are different instruments. Fluxora stores the instrument as a column — market.day_ahead_price.instrument — rather than as a footnote, and serves it as a field on every price response. Read it, and read currency_code beside it, before you compare series.

The availability column is not a service level, it is the instrument. An auction clear exists the moment the auction clears, the day before delivery. An index over trades cannot exist until those trades have happened, so a GB delivery day is only complete the day after it. Ask Fluxora for tomorrow's prices and you will get 47 continental zones and an empty GB column — that is the correct answer, not a gap, and no completeness figure will distinguish it from an outage.
If you are building a cross-zone spread, a capture rate, or anything that subtracts one zone's price from another's, these three rows are not interchangeable terms. Two of the differences are visible in the currency column and one is not: the GB value is a traded average while the continental value is a clearing price, and no row count or completeness figure can tell you which you are holding. Cross-zone aggregates must be computed on a currency-normalised basis; the canonical price view does not do that for you.
The GB series carries only the APX half. Elexon's Market Index Data publishes two dataProvider series; Fluxora normalises APXMIDP and not N2EXMIDP, so exactly half the raw rows reach the curated table by design. Any description of this series as "APX and N2EX index submissions" is wrong.
The GB series is single-sourced by construction. ENTSO-E has published no BZN|GB day-ahead price since 2021-06-15 and will not resume, so the multi-source cross-checking that applies to continental zones does not extend to GB — there is no second series to cross-check against, and there will not be one. Where this page or the platform describes a dual-source assurance, that claim is scoped to zones that have two sources.
grid_load is not actual_loadThe Belgian load series (Elia ods003, 2015 to present) is grid load: TSO-metered offtake from the transmission grid. It excludes behind-the-meter generation, principally rooftop solar. actual_load elsewhere on the platform is total system load.
These are different quantities and must never be unioned, averaged, or ranked together. A Belgian midday figure compared against a neighbour's actual_load will read low by roughly the behind-the-meter solar output, and the error is largest exactly when solar matters most. The platform types the Belgian series as grid_load rather than actual_load for this reason.
DE-LU carries two distinct imbalance-related series. They are different instruments on different publication clocks and must not be read as one number:

The lag is the publisher's, not a gap in coverage. A reBAP value for last Tuesday does not exist yet, anywhere, and its absence from Fluxora is not an incident. If you need a same-day German imbalance figure, NETZTRANSPARENZ_ID_AEP is the series that exists; it is an index input, not the settled price, and substituting one for the other will not reconcile.
ENTSO-E publishes physical flows (Transparency Regulation Art. 12.1.G) twice: through its RESTful API, and as monthly files in its File Library. Fluxora serves the API figure and uses the File Library only to fill intervals the API does not hold, including history before the API series begins. On almost every border the two agree to within a few MW. On three they do not (measured 2 to 20 September 2026, 15-minute intervals):

What this means for you. On these borders, values that came from the File Library (mainly history) and values that came from the API (current data) are not on exactly the same basis. A step at the point where the source changes is the publication, not a change in the physical flow. Do not read a trend across that point on these three borders without allowing for it. ENTSO-E has not documented the difference, and on DE-LU ↔ DK1 a third source (Energinet) differs from both. We will state the cause here once it is known.
Computed metrics — capture price, capture rate, baseload/peak price, negative-price hours, residual load, RES share, cross-zone spreads — are calculated by Fluxora from the source data above and are Fluxora's own work. When you publish a derived metric, acknowledge the underlying source(s) per section 4; the metric definition itself is ours.
Use the per-source strings in section 4. For CC-BY 4.0 datasets, also link the licence and indicate any changes you made. A courtesy mention of Fluxora (fluxaris.net) is welcome but not required for sources whose terms don't demand it. Price data must not be published or redistributed regardless of attribution.
Data is collected from third-party sources and may contain errors, gaps, revisions, or delays. Fluxora makes no warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. See the Terms of Service for the full disclaimer.
